Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your access to and use of Patron (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them on behalf of the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be authorised to act for your business and be at least 18 years old.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- record unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content about a person;
- make automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects;
- attempt to access another business's data, or to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service;
- resell or publish data from the Service other than as permitted by these terms.
4. Customer data and privacy responsibilities
You remain the controller of the customer records, ratings, notes, and evidence files you upload ("Your Data"). You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store that information, for informing the individuals concerned where the law requires it, and for responding to their access, correction, and deletion requests.
We process Your Data only to provide and support the Service. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, back up, and display it to your authorised users and, where you enable partner sharing, to the establishments you explicitly connect with.
5. Ratings, notes and network sharing
Ratings, risk indicators, and comp percentages are generated from the information your team enters. They are internal aids only and are not a credit reference, background check, or recommendation. You are solely responsible for any decision you take about a guest, and for keeping notes factual and proportionate.
If you accept a partnership with another establishment, guest history matched by email or phone becomes visible to that partner. You may end a partnership at any time.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, or withdrawn. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others. On termination you may export Your Data for a reasonable period before deletion.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to the account owner's registered contact address for your workspace.
